SHE’S GOING PLACES!

I can’t believe that Lucy is already graduating pre-school! It feels just like yesterday that I was holding her in my arms at the hospital… And while I wish that I could keep her my little baby forever, I’m so PROUD of the big girl that she is becoming! This Dr. Seuss book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” was the perfect graduation gift for our little Lucy, and for any graduate, from pre-K to college, because it inspires readers to dream BIG! I love the lessons taught in this book, from appreciating where she’s been to inspiring excitement for what’s to come, and I hope that our Lucy carries these lessons with her throughout her life.

Lucy, on your graduation day I want to tell you how much I have loved to see your talents grow! From your artwork, to wanting to become a “baby nurse” when you’re older. You’ve always been in touch with your talents and have had a nurturing nature for those around you. You have the best belly laugh, and I admire your ability to laugh at yourself! You are constantly teaching me not to take life too seriously, and I love you for that. I love your quirky personality, and things you do… Like sleeping in your underwear and wearing a silk eye mask to bed, calling the movie theater the “movie computer”, obsessing over anything SLIME, constantly talking about which boy in your class you want to marry, and staying as far away from chocolate as possible because it will “hurt your teeth”. Even though I think that you just don’t care for it like your mom. 😉

The bottom line is that I’m so proud of you and want to wish you a very HAPPY GRADUATION! I’m so excited to see all “The Places You’ll Go”!
