I managed to get out of my robe, and out of the house for the first time since having Greta… and it was exhilarating! Haha! We’re celebrating the small victories over here. 😉 I just really wanted to get up to the mountains before all the fall colors were gone! But let’s be honest, it wouldn’t have been possible with out Brad. He’s really been the one running the show around here lately. Changing diapers in the middle of the night… Calming us girls when we are crying… Between the three of us, it seems like there is always someone crying. 😉 Ha! Postpartum recovery has been kinda rough this go around. It feels like every other day, I go from wanting to get back to regular life — busting out projects left and right… To feeling like I want to die because I’m cramping so hard, and I just want to live in the bathtub all day. Hopefully I’ll be feeling one hundred percent again, soon. In the mean time, I’m trying to enjoy doctors orders to “take it easy” for a couple more days. Besides my body feeling a little sketch, and having my hormonal moments here and there, I sincerely couldn’t be happier. Just feeling super grateful for this beautiful weather, a patient husband, and my healthy baby girls. Life is wonderful!

Oh my goodness, these are adorable! I particularly love the one where you guys are all looking at Greta! And I don't think it's crazy – they change so much so fast it's good to take pictures early!
These are so sweet — I think it's a great idea to capture a few shots with your brand-new family! I so agree it feels amazing to get out of the house and dress up a bit ha!
